Contributing to the Wiki

Thank you for wanting to contribute to the [main|Museum of Mobility History] Wiki. With your help we'll bring interesting mobility technologies and expanded information about them to interested people all over the world.

To contributed to the Wiki please follow the steps below:

Instructions

• Only registered users are allowed to edit this Wiki. To create an account, click the "Create Account" link in the upper right hand corner of this screen.
• You must have a valid email address as we require confirmation before posting.
• Once your account is activated, log in and you'll be able to:
  
  • Edit existing pages by clicking the "edit" tab at the top of the page or the "edit" links by each section
  • Create new pages by following these steps
    • Enter the subject of the page into the search box (e.g. "Osborne 1")
    • If the page does not exist you'll be prompted to create it
    • Start editing

If you're familiar with the markup language used by MediaWiki (and Wikipedia), you'll have no problem because we use exactly the same software to power the MuMoH Wiki. If you're not, click this link to visit the MediaWiki editing guide.

Uploading images is only permitted by the Wiki administrators. Please send your images to info@mumohwiki.com along with the page on which you'd like your image to appear, and we'll review and post it for you. Please be sure the image is either in the public domain or that you have the rights to post it.
